Carrier Lock (Network Lock) Guide
Verify device lock status before using international travel eSIMs
What is Carrier Lock?
A restriction applied by carriers locking devices to their specific network. Your device must be unlocked to install and use international travel eSIMs.
How to Check on iPhone
Go to Settings → General → About → [Carrier Lock].
If it displays "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked and ready for eSIM.
How to Check on Android
Most unlocked and modern Android phones have no restrictions. You can confirm by dialing your original carrier or checking Settings → Connections.
How to Request Carrier Unlock
Call your original mobile carrier customer service and request device network unlock for international travel. In most cases, it is free and processed immediately.
